About Big Salt Charters

Thank you for your interest in Big Salt Charters. I am Captain Matt Stelzer and I live on the Island of Arrowsic, Maine. I have enjoyed exploring   the Kennebec River for almost 50 years. I earned my Master Maine Guide license over 20 years ago and hold a 50 ton Master Captain’s license.  I hold a current Certification in First Aid/CPR/AED.  I am a member of the National Association of Charterboat Operators and the Maine Association of Charterboat Captains as well as a founding member of the Bath Captains Association.
